Vanessa Boulanger is a seasoned leader with over 15 years of experience in public health, behavioral science, and rare diseases. As Director of Patient Experience & Engagement at Boehringer Ingelheim, she helps ensure that patient perspectives are included and valued throughout all phases of the clinical development lifecycle. Across roles in academia, non-profit, and now industry, Vanessa has led cross-stakeholder initiatives to advance Patient-Focused Drug Development, designed real-world studies to understand patient experience, and contributed to strategic initiatives and new approaches to measurement.
